As a cross discipline researcher and Free Software developer, I am interested in circuit simulation, algorithms, user interfaces, interoperability and open standards. In the past I have been involved with Gnucap and Qucs development and maintenance. Gnucap, because it constitutes the basis for modern 'post-spice' algorithms. Qucs, because it has a schematic editor with a generic user interface to circuit analysis algorithms.

My current goal is the refactoring and unforking of the Qucs codebase. This implies the port to Qt5, the provision of interfaces for extensions and will enable the packaging for recent operating systems, the inclusion of unfinished user contributions, and the implementation of new features.

As a Gnucap developer, I am interested in a circuit simulation platform that supports modern algorithms, standard compliance and interoperability. I have maintained Gnucap in the past and I have implemented Gnucsator, gnucap-python and gnucap-adms. I am aiming at a free software alternative to commercial circuit simulators in real world applications.
